This week, I've learnt about how to use program
Adobe Captivate 8. I learnt to use the program. Teacher taught me the
way to put student's name in my CALL and I also learnt to add power point into
Adobe Captivate 8 program. I learnt how to make the test in this program
and link flame into another flame when the student click.
The advantages are CALL
1.The use of CALL to support in
language learning provides students with the authenticity of the input.
2.CALL,especially computer mediated
communication
3.CALL is able to provide learners
with the kinds of information and support
4 CALL cab be use to promote
autonomous learning
The disadvantages are CALL
1. Some student difficult to understand.
2.It is difficult to make.

This week, I learnt about
Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). CALL is defined as the search for
and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning.
aim to find ways for using computers for the purpose of teaching and learning
the language. CALL is represented by the use of computer technologies that
promote educational learning, including : word processing, presentation
packages, guided drill and practice, tutor,simulation, problem solving, games,
multimedia CD-ROM, and internet applications such as e-mail, chat and the World
Wide Web (WWW) for language learning purposes. Use of call in English Teaching.
The program is designed to create language interaction through problematic
situations, conditions or problems challenging for the learner to solve. Many
simulation programs are problem solving
games.

This week, I learnt about how to use
antconc. I found words in antconc and it showed me concordances. I learnt both left and right side from the word
I searched. Then, I learnt about the frequency of words . After that, I looked for local grammar ,plural or singular noun ,verb
or gerund.Another one,Styles are personification ,superlative and passive voice
I knew how many time they use that word in my corpus.The last one, I realized
that kinds of word that they usually used in my corpus that are verb, preposition, article, and noun.

This week, I learnt about meaning and used of
corpus. It was a collection of words and several data .I knew how to use corpus head. I learnt element corpus. There were antconc, wordsmith,
and paraconc. Then, teacher taught me to make my corpus. Teacher taught me to
copy the information and paste it into notepad. I knew how to saved my
information on my computer. The file type would be .txt. Next, she taught me how
to check my words that I got into notepad. I could download the antconc program
and select the files that I saved. The last one, I searched some word in
antconc program. It would showed me the way of word being in the sentences and
I can do it by myself.

This week,I learn about corpus linguistics by Mr.Kriangkrai Vatthanalaoha. He taught about inthis session we'll be focusing on different ways of sorting and interpreting concordances. If you get stuck at any point.I learnt process of concordances.
-Staeting BNC web get up chome and go to www.//bnc new .ac.uk/ enter your name and password.
-Thinning a concordance we are to use concordance to explore the ways that the word admit is used in general language
-Sorting a concordance this simple centers the word admit and makes the concordances line a bit easier to read ,However,in order to look for patterns of language , it would be useful to sort the concordance alphabetically. Click on the New Query dropdown menu again and then select Sort.
-observing hidden meaning
-Observing differences in meaning concider the following words whice have similar meaning.The last one,I learnt about Types of corpus. There were seven
types of corpus(Specialised corpus, General corpus, Multilingual corpus,
Parallel corpus, Learner corpus, Historical or Diachronic corpus, and Monitor
corpus.
